I passed the AZ 900 Azure Fundamentals a few weeks back with a little help from Lars Klint and John Savill. Here are the resources I used and what I found useful.

Video — John Savill’s AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals Hints and Tips — I found this video really easy to follow and absorb 55ish minutes on the fundamentals you need to know for the exam. I am now working my way through John’s Azure Master Class .

Video — A Cloud Guru’s AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals by Lars Klint — Lars is super engaging and his examples are great — he uses Lego to explain Availability Zones and a space rocket to explain Azure Governance. Training videos have moved on since I was doing my MCSA 8 years ago, no chance of falling asleep in this one!

Video — Free Code Camp’s — Course on YouTube- Very neat and to the point overview of Azure fundamentals.

Book — Azure in a month of Lunches — I wanted to be able to do the work in Azure not just memorise the material for the exam. This book has a chapter per tutorial each is designed to take around 1 hour , so you can do it in your lunch hour. I had my free Azure trial setup and used it to do most of these. One of my favourites was deploying an Azure Web App for ordering Pizza!
